Pacquiao Won!

Manny Pacquiao vs Miguel Cotto was by far the best Boxing match I have seen ever… that being that am no boxing fan hence I have only watched a few.

Fortunately my brother had some tickets on Guilly’s Island on Quezon city which I would like to thank also for having such good food and an awesome venue for the said event to take place.

Every round was full of thrill and each round you see Manny take it except for Round 2. But no one could ever assure Pacquiao’s safety until:

1. Cotto gets KO’d
2. 12 rounds pass for the decision

Why? Because Cotto is such a beast and we know how strong his left hook is. ITS A KILLER! Anyway, I felt that everyone had the same feel that I had knowing that most of the attendees knew who and what Cotto can do.

I salute the referee for giving Manny that fight, thinking of Cotto’s well being and ending it in TKO fashion. Great job and great event. Mabuhay ang Pambansang KAMO!

Manny Pacquiao vs. Miguel Cotto

I know that this is not MMA, but Manny is one hell of a Filipino fighter which is always worth writing about and talking about. For a fact, I know that most Americans love Manny Pacquiao hence I guess it will not hurt if I created a category just about our Pambansang Kamao.

Been doing a quick research about Miguel Cotto since for 1, I actually don’t know anything about this guy except that he bangs hard. I think he is like a small Cain Velasquez for me. Strong and big chinned fella who loves to bang.

Had to watch a Miguel Cotto highlight and seems that for the first time I felt nervous for Manny in this fight. All the while I was thinking that this fight is a tune up fight for Manny to take on Mayweather. But on the other hand, the tune up might be for Cotto.

I have seen Cotto, and they say he is slow and all but that was not the case over the highlight reel I saw of him. He is not slow, and his main power is his left hook. Probably beaten most of his opponents with it. That’s the punch Pacman should avoid, a Left-hook-right-straight combination from Cotto. Cotto has only lost once and it turned out that the fighter who has beaten him got caught cheating. So it is safe to say that he was robbed in his loss.

Anyway, with all that said, I believe that Cotto-Pacquiao fight will very much likely be a battle.

If Manny can make it a speed battle of exchanges, he might take it home. A run at Cotto might be too much for the Mexican. Hit and move is the key for Manny. But slow exchanges would probably cost him. Beware of the Cotto left hook, he starts everything with it.. head.. body.. head… and it will be goodnight.

I am rooting for Manny that’s why I am picking on Cotto to win! Hehe I have picked all Pacquiao opponents in his last 2 fights and Manny won them all. So I am sticking to my choices hence not to jinx pacquiao!
