Machida is such a tool!

Just read a recent link about Lyoto Machida announcing that he actually thought that he won the fight. Thanks to Sherdog.com for the coverage.

I personally think that Machida in this matter is like afraid of losing status, losing the belt, and losing the prestige of being Champion. But deep down inside, he knew he lost. He couldn’t stand Chin-up when the decision was to be made. It was like, he was just waiting for disappointment. Unfortunately, the disappointment came to our LHW Champ, Murilio Shogun Rua, who played his cards right, beating Machida at his own game.

Kudo’s to Shogun, he is an uncrowned UFC LHW Champ. And for me, it’s like pity for Machida as if he was really with the Samurai spirit, he would have gave up his title to Shogun, or vacate it nevertheless cause he knows he isn’t Champion.

Essence of fighting is becoming more of a money thing now.. I hope it does not continue to be like this.
